Calcium deposits in Brain and Severe Migraines?

I recently went to the ER for severe Migraines only on the right side of my head that have been nonstop for going on a month now... these are Every day/night and are constant. I have tried Tylenol/Excedrin/Advil/Aspirin/Ibuprofin and many others including Sinus/Allergy medications just in case, and to no avail, nothing has worked. I had a CT scan and the Dr said that it showed I have Calcium Deposits on my brain. The hospital's solution was a Vicodin and 2 bags of fluid via IV...which to my experience did NOT help! The Dr did not give me ANY information other than to get another CT scan in 6 months. My question is, what exactly are Calcium Deposits on the brain and what are the consequences? Has anyone else had these problems?

  1. According to what I've found online, they are not dangerous and are normal. If you have nausea or vomiting then you need to go back to the doctor. Supposedly most people have deposits in the penial gland. Also, there is no known risk of cancer associated with calcium deposits. Protein is the bad one. It causes dementia, Alzheimers, etc. Good question! I hope you feel better! And you may want an MRI.
