Aspirins

Do I have a cold or allergies?

Ever since I arrived in England about 10 days ago, I have had what I thought was a cold. I have basically had runny nose (quiet a bit! All those tissues) and more recently, itchy and watery eyes and...more runny nose. Throughout the 10 days, I have been generally tired and have pretty much spent the entire time sleeping in or reading books, leaving only to go to class. I started by taking aspirin, then went and got day/night cold medicine (Benylin here in UK)...and am now realizing that its not really working. The runny rose and constant fatigue is getting really irritating and keeping me from going out. So is it allergies or a bad a cold? Any suggestions on which medication to take? Anything to stop the damn runny nose!

  1. Allergies would be the problem. Benadryl would do well but cause drowsiness. I use Aleve Cold and Sinus for allergies and sinuses and it works wonders for me. You have to get it at the pharmacy though. You do not need a prescription. Allegra is good. Claratin doesnt help me at all.
  2. allergies. take an antihistamine
