Aspirins

Would it be wise to begin a one a day low dose aspirin regimen even though I have no medical problems/allergy.

I believe in preventive maintenance of my body so that I don't have any complications in my later years. I also don't want to make things worse so I guess I ask before I start this regiment. I just had my blood works done. Everything is normal. I should have asked my doctor this question but I missed that chance. Thanks

  1. taking 81mg asa is not a bad idea, but you dont have to if your are young,if you are above 35,and if you have family history of cardiac problems, then consider it
  2. it might not be good unless you need it depends on age and other factors also apsirin can case bleeding when used for a long time it becomes a blood thinner
  3. you might want to think of your liver too... taking a lot of medicines may harm your liver... as for me, i dont take medicine unless i really need to. aspirin prevents blood clot, so if you get a cut, it might take a long time to heal. that is also the reason why doctors do not operate immediately on persons who take aspirin, because the person might not stop bleeding during the surgery
