Dog was licking a piece of Tylenol easy tabs?
I don't have the slightest clue how the Tylenol tablet got on the ground, but my old dog was licking it. I smacked his nose and picked up the Tylenol IMMEDIATELY after I noticed him licking it, and it was sticky, but he didn't consume any of it. I just want to know if the dog will be ok? Yes, I'm sure it was only one tablet on the ground. I called my mom, and she said that she dropped it this morning and that she couldn't find it.

- Yes, he'll be fine medically. Tho' after smacking him on the nose, I don't know how he'll be mentally.
- he'll be alright. the medicine is inside the capsule.
- Should be OK. Might phone the vet to be sure.
- The Vet Gives That To Dogs, So Yess, Ya Dog Will Be Fine! I Give That To Ma Dogs When They Have A Reaction To Somethin!
- Is there a possibility that he ate one? If you didn't know how the one you found got on the ground I would be worried that maybe it wasn't the only one. Just the licking may be ok but if your dog swallowed a tablet and has a low weight he could be in danger of liver failure. If you have a large dog, then you are probably ok but if hes smaller I would be concerned because the acetaminophen in tylenol is toxic to dogs. My puppy when he only weighed 7 pounds got a hold of a midol and he had to get his stomach pumped and everything. It was really scary but had he weighed more there wouldn't have been a threat.
- He should be fine.
- Tylenol won't hurt your dog:) But be very careful with IBProfin... it is very deadly to dogs:)
