You have just had a massive heart attack. Which surgeon do you want to perform the open heart surgery?

A) The one who will focus 100% of his attention on the operation. B)The one who will devote 50% of his attention to the operation and 50% to the football game playing on the TV in the next room.

  1. Not McCain because hes too old. But after seeing this: http://www.mofopolitics.com/2008/09/22/video-barack-obama-uh-count/ Not Obama either! Definitley not. So probably Ralph Nader wud b the best surgeoun.
  2. B, So he can tell me the score.
  3. Not the one who only has 143 days of experience McCain will win in November
  4. The one who will keep his cool and be a competent surgeon! John McCain has shown that he is not able to chew gum and walk at the same time! He has completely lost his mind....
  5. Wow our electoral process is a football game. Starting to understand how Bush got elected....
  6. the one not working for socialized medicine.
  7. As long as he's not a Lion's fan..
  8. I think a more appropriate choice B would be: The one who would devote 15% of his attention to the operation, 35% to his campaign to be head surgeon, and 50% to getting on TV to talk about surgery. Not to mention all this while choice B is working in a socialized medicine program and your emergency surgery is now 8 months past when you needed it and it's a much more serious problem than it started out. Obviously, I'm for choice A.
  9. Horrible analogy.
  10. Um is there a point to this question.....I would obviously want the best in the world.
  11. A
  12. C) the surgeons who are already working on it and know more about the surgery anyway. Why in the world would I want two more doctors in the room to get in the way--especially when one has already said he doesn't know anything about the surgery I need anyway?
  13. The one that isn't a republican...
  14. The one who is under 50 years old and knows when he is in a debate or an operating room and how to act accordingly. In the debate he will be 100% coherent, educated and confident. That kind frighten some white haired old guys.
  15. In Obama's world, his bureaucrats will tell you.
  16. Our choice is actually between a surgeon with years of experience but a bunch of malpractice suits and a 2nd year med student studying pediatrics.
  17. Dr. Obama
  18. The hot sexy one!
  19. I'd want a heart surgeon that doesnt say he knows nothing about hearts. Any fool can devote 100% of their attention to it, but if a real heart surgeon would only devote 50% of their attention you'd still be better off.
  20. A
  21. A if he's not the President
  22. Definitely choice A. And I would add that I would also want the doctor with the most experience to perform the surgery.
  23. The young one he may not have as much knowledge but at least he was able to talk to me.
  24. Well I would want Obama to operate with Biden. McCain will have a heart attack at the same time and Palin will try to eat my heart.
  25. This is a completely false analogy. A better one would be: You are interviewing two heart surgeons to perform your open heart surgery. A) is splitting his time between you and his other patients B) is complaining that he can't be bothered with you because his patients are more important than your surgery.
  26. B) I want my surgeon to be relaxed and ready.
  27. The one who is qualified to do it and realize he may have another patient scheduled that same day, and the next, and he/she is competent enough to get us all taken care of. Or he who can transplant a heart, thus requiring working on two patients at the same time, and still giving great focus, while the football game plays on the radio, because he/she is intelligent enough to manage this.
  28. The one with the most experience. Not the intern who just passed medical school.
  29. Comparing a person's life or death situation to the bail out of the fat-cats of Wall Street is stupid. Obama is right on. He is smart enough to handle more than one issue at a time, contrary to McCain or the brainless cowboy Georgie Bush. McCain cannot manage his own campaign. Today, it was revealed that the McCain camp had to ask for additional time (4 days) to file Painful-Palin's financial statements. As per their general counsel, they thought there was more time than what the deadline of September 30 is!
  30. I'll take the one with focus, not the one that will say "damn this socialized medicine, I should never have done that I could have been at the game" Obama said that he wanted the debate to go on and that the President needs to be able to multi-task. OK, so at the moment of this crisis, neither McCain or Obama are the President and both men were elected to handle this particular type situation. I don't want someone that is not going to focus on the task at hand.
