- GOD!!! Get that girl to the hospital or at least care for her before it does become serious. Set her down, give her water!!!!
- well, you cant die from od'ing on tylenol... seeing as it was so long ago that she took it, its too late for her to have her stomach pumped, the only thing she can do now is to go to the hospital and they'll have her drink charcoal to help filter it out of her system...
- Take her to the ER or call poison control. Don't stop her from vomiting. Make sure if she does vomit she won't pass out and choke on it.
- maybe her headache can't be cured by Tylenol. she needs to call a doctor or medi-clinic. you can ruin your liver with too much tylenol. my father-in-law took the normal dose for 10 days, killed his liver, and had to have a liver transplant. don't mess around! why did she take 10 tylenols anyway? is there something else going on?
- it is bad enough, possibly cause vomiting (may be too late), and drink milk and fluids, too much will also cause liver / kidney damage failure, for life, so she may be ok from tylenol this time, but the cause of headache unknown , may require rest only until proper diagnoses can be checked, could try advil after, but depends on individuals allergies and adverse reactions to all medicines unknown, read other answers, ..
- Ok first of all she took ten! The average you are supposed to take is 2. It's also important to know was it pills or the chewable. The pill is much stronger. Lucky for her she isnt tiny or there could be a serious problem. I read that is causes liver damage. I would go to the doctor right now. Oh yeah im so sorry to ask but im just kinda curious why did she take 10? Hope i helped and best of luck to her.
- My advice is call 911. I starred your question because this is VERY SERIOUS. I hope someone with a medical background answers your question, but I think you need to dial 911 for your freind. I have been told by a paramedic that even 3 or 4 Tylenol can cause very serious and permanent liver damage. This is no joking matter.
- What was the mg of the Tylenol? If it was the 200 mg Tylenol she should be okay iwth a weight of 173, the avg person can take up to 4 pills (800mg) every 4 hours, but she needs to drink a lot of water and eat good, solid food not junk. . If it was the 500 mg tabs she should go to the ER. Most likely, they will only hydrate her with an IV therapy and give her an antacid like pepcid because they Tylenol at that dosage can do some serious damage to her stomach lining. They will do a blood test (CBC) to make sure she doesn't have signs of internal bleeding. It has been to long for them to pump her stomach, pretty much they would just watch and wait for other symptoms. She feels dizzy because of the acetaminophen is a high concentration in her blood. If she starts to feel better tomorrow she should buy some pepcid over the counter and take that tomorrow, but of course I would recommend seeking a DR opinion. If her mom is crazy... Can she come over your house, can your mom help her, she may need medical help and without it she may have long term liver disease or stomach ulcers.
- If these are over the counter Tylenol she didn't take enough to overdose...It all depends on the dosage. She shouldn't do this it could cause more problems, she should see a doctor.
