What is best to treat acne? Salicylic Acid or Benzoyl Peroxide?

I've used products like Neutrogena, St. Ives, Noxema, Clearasil, DDF. What is a good regimen to stick to? I have combination skin. Please help! :)

1. It all depends, personally i cannot use salicylic acid products because i have allergic reactions, but i find that products containing just benzoyl peroxide work wonderfully. Also, if you have the money you could go to like macys and get some clinique products, they are amazing but a tad pricy.
