What REALLY CAUSES Coronary Heart Disease - Now We Know That Saturated Fat And Cholesterol Absolutely DON'T What really causes coronary heart disease? Ancel Keys's research has ZERO scientific validity as he LEFT OUT data available from 22 other that CONTRADICTED his theory. Also his false theory was an epidemiological study - which is the LOWEST of the low and is not good enough. Most importantly there has not been one tightly controlled clinical intervention trial that has ever shown saturate dfat to increase CJHD mortality or incidence. So what REALLY CAUSES CHD?

What is the difference between CORONARY and CONGENITAL heart disease? I'm filling out a family health history form for my doctor and it's asking if anyone in my family has had coronary or congenital heart disease. I know my mom has heart disease but I don't know which kind it is. One of the arteries to her heart was becoming blocked and they had to put a stent in that artery to open it back up - it's called angioplasty. Is that coronary or congenital? Thanks.

Coronary Heart Disease? How can the term "risk factor" be explained? What are some behavioral risk factors for coronary heart disease? I understand that the first symptom of coronary heart disease may be a heart attack or sudden cardiac arrest. This is why medical professionals use screening tests to detect the presence and severity of coronary disease before it causes problems or sends an individual to an emergency department with severe symptoms. Thanks in advance :)

How early or at what age is it ok to start taking aspirin in small doses to prevent heart disease? Hi, My father has had two quadruple bypasses and two heart attacks so I know a little bit about heart conditions. I am 24 right now and I want to reduce the chances of ever getting coronary heart disease. I know that low doses of aspirin around 75-81mg are prescribed to people with heart conditions to "thin" the blood and today I read an article about how not enough people take aspirin as a precaution against heart attacks. I also know that aspirin even in mild doses can cause ulcers, especially if you drink, which I do quite frequently. I wanted to know if now is a good time to start taking aspirin because even though i exercise and eat healthy and do some cardio, I also smoke, and I probably am genetically more likely to develop heart disease....Does anyone know the answer to this? Also would aspirin make me more prone to getting dizzy and unable to perform more strenuous activity because it 'thins' my blood? Thanks a lot for reading this.
