My symptoms consist of coughing, mucous, sore throat (almost gone now!) and runny nose. I feel really hot at times and I start to sweat a thin layer i have had the biggest headache, since saturday night, 2 days ago, and it is still throbbing on my right side of my head. i just took a bayer women's low dose 81mg aspirin, but when i went on the company's site, they said Warnings Reye's syndrome: Children and teenagers should not use this medicine for chicken pox or flu symptoms before a doctor is consulted about Reye's syndrome, a rare but serious illness reported to be associated with aspirin. i'm scared - i'm sick and i had no idea. my mom just gave me the aspirin. should i be worried? oh and i've also been taking liquid nyquil multi-symptom for night and the multi-symptom dayquil during the day is it still safe to take these? i read the side-effects of these and it said a common side effect is a headache.. oh and i only took 2 of the bayer pills well the last time i took nyquil was around 2AM this morning and now it is 4:15PM where i am so i haven't had any exposure to the nyquil/dayquil yet..

Aspirin - Ringing in Ears? I've been taking the 500mg Extra Strength Bayer Aspirin. I normally take between 2-4 of these a day. I've been taking them for about a week, and I read that it would take many dozens of the regular 325mg to cause overdose. I can safely say that I haven't taken taken over 8000-10,000mg of aspirin this week. But after I took one caplet (500mg) today, I felt a ringing in my left ear. I was using the tap in my bathroom, and I thought that the loudness of the water caused it. I'm not allergic to aspirin, and have no other symptoms. The ringing has gone away, so I'm just wondering if this is just a mere temporary side-effect, or some kind of overdose. Thanks.

Aspirin Addiction? I think I'm addicted t Bayer aspirin, I crave it and will eat 3-4 pills at a time even though it causes upset stomach and at one point I'd developed tinititus a ringing in my ears, I can't stop. I'll buy a bottle eat 4 then get an upset stomach and throw the bottle away or give it to someone but then in the next day or two I'll buy a new bottle and do the same thing. Pets and Aspirin.? My Lab had to get some stitches today for a gash. The Vet said I could give him one buffered aspirin, like Bayer. After I got home I realized the only kind I have is Equate brand aspirin. It says 'compare to Bayer', but it doesn't say anything about being buffered. Is all aspirin buffered? i had a major heart attack? i had 6 bypasses when i woke up i could not breath i took a bayer aspirin the paramedics came and rushed me to the hospital when i got thier i was so close to dying that they did not think i would make it i did . i recieved an award from the hospital a plack for having the worst heart attack and living. i had an artical printed for the newspaper with my picture i thank god my doctor and according to my doctor bayer aspirin for saving my lifs . now i visit hospitals and talk to patients before and after heart problems and show them you can live after theheart attack

My mom has blood clot (s)...is the Dr. doing all he can? My mom has vericose veins on her legs and about a month ago, one became very swollen and soar. She went to the Dr. and they did an ultrasound. No clotting. So he started giving her injections to break down the vericose veins but one of the veins became red and painful. She went back to him to let him know and he said that it's now a clot. He told her to take a blood thinner (bayer aspirin) and gave her an appt. to come back in two weeks. Now she has another swollen bump on the other leg. canine foot injury? My dog woke up this morning unable to walk or put any weight on his front left paw whatsoever.
